Compensation and Restitution
There are three methods of compensation available to victims of crime in California: Court-Ordered Restitution, Crime Victims Compensation Program, and Civil Judgments. These methods are each described in detail by following the links to the bottom. The fastest method of receiving money for expenses related to a violent crime is through the Crime Victims’ Compensation Program.
